This is a 40-tooth differential ring gear for the Team Associated RC10B84 4WD off-road buggy platform, the main gear inside the differential that receives drive from the pinion gear and transfers power to the axle. As the largest gear in the diff assembly, the ring gear takes the brunt of drivetrain torque, so its tooth profile and material quality directly affect durability and smooth power delivery. It is precision molded to maintain accurate meshing with the pinion gear, reducing wear, backlash, and drivetrain noise while holding up to repeated racing loads. This ring gear fits the RC10B84, RC10B84 Classic, RC10B84D, and RC10T84 Team, covering the current B84 buggy and truck platform. It serves as a direct replacement for a worn, stripped, or chipped factory ring gear, which is a common wear item in any actively raced 4WD diff, and swapping it in restores smooth, efficient power transfer through the drivetrain. It installs inside the stock differential case using the factory gear set and hardware.
