This rear gearbox is a direct replacement housing for the rear drivetrain on Team Associated's B84 platform vehicles. It contains and supports the rear differential, input and output shafts, and associated gears, keeping them properly aligned so power transfers smoothly from the drivetrain to the rear wheels. Molded from durable composite material, the gearbox case resists cracking and wear from the torque loads, vibration, and impacts of hard racing and rough landings, helping keep gear mesh consistent and preventing the play that leads to premature gear wear. Precise molding tolerances ensure the differential and shafts seat correctly, so the rear end delivers reliable, consistent power without binding or excess slop. This is a direct fit for the RC10B84, RC10B84 Classic, RC10B84D, RC10B84D Classic, and RC10T84 Team, covering the current B84 buggy and T84 stadium truck platforms. It works as a straight replacement for a cracked or stripped stock rear gearbox, restoring proper drivetrain function without needing to source a full drivetrain assembly.
