Description
The Team Associated ASC92506 wing mount set holds the rear wing in position above the rear end of the RC10B84 buggy and the RC10T84 Team truck. The mounts locate the wing at the correct height and angle relative to the body and chassis so that it can do its job in the air and on the ground.
Rear wing position affects rear downforce and how stable the car is at speed and in flight. Height and angle changes are used to trim how the car rotates off jumps and how planted the rear feels through fast sweepers, which makes mounts that hold their position repeatably part of the setup rather than just hardware.
This set is a direct replacement for the wing mounts supplied in the RC10B84 and RC10T84 Team kits and installs in the original locations using the stock screws. Wing mounts are frequently broken in rollovers and rear landings because the wing acts as a long lever on them, so a spare set in the pit box is a standard item for racers. The wing, screws, and body are not included.
