Description
The Team Associated ASC92503 chassis braces tie the chassis together on the RC10B84 buggy and the RC10T84 Team truck, adding stiffness to the platform at the points where suspension and drivetrain loads are fed into the chassis plate.
Chassis stiffness is a genuine tuning tool on these vehicles. Bracing controls how much the chassis twists between the front and rear ends, which changes how much of a bump the suspension has to absorb on its own and how the chassis loads the tires through a corner. The braces also protect the chassis plate itself, taking impact loads that would otherwise bend it.
These braces are direct replacements for the ones supplied in the RC10B84 and RC10T84 Team kits and install in the original mounting locations using the stock screws, so no modification or drilling is required. Replacing a cracked or bent brace returns the chassis to the stiffness the setup was developed around, which matters more than most drivers expect when a car suddenly stops handling the same way in both directions. Screws and chassis components are not included.
