Description
The Team Associated ASC92496 hinge pin set contains the suspension hinge pins used through the front and rear arm mounts on the RC10B7 platform. The pins locate the suspension arms in the arm mounts and act as the pivot the arms rotate around, so their fit and straightness directly affect how freely the suspension moves and how consistently the car handles.
This set fits the RC10B7, RC10B7D and RC10B7.1D 1:10 scale 2WD off-road buggies and installs in the standard arm mount and hub assemblies using the kit hardware. It is a direct replacement for the pins supplied in the kit.
Hinge pins are a routine wear and crash item. A bent pin binds the arm and can be difficult to spot by eye, so it is worth checking arm droop and free movement after any heavy impact and replacing any pin you suspect. Keep the pins clean and lightly lubricated so the suspension stays free through its full travel.
