Description
The Team Associated ASC92490 chassis is a shorter, -4mm chassis length option for the RC10B7 platform, giving drivers another way to tune wheelbase. Running the shorter chassis alters weight distribution and shortens the car overall, which generally improves rotation and increases forward bite. That combination is useful across a wide range of track conditions and layouts.
This chassis fits the RC10B7, RC10B7D and RC10B7.1 1:10 scale 2WD off-road buggies and accepts the standard electronics, suspension and drivetrain components from those kits. It is supplied as a single chassis plate and is intended as a tuning option alongside the standard length chassis, though it also serves as a replacement if the original plate has been bent or worn thin.
Transfer your existing hardware over following the kit manual, and check screw lengths against the new plate during assembly. A flat, straight chassis is the baseline every other setup adjustment is measured against, so it is worth inspecting yours regularly for tweak and wear.
