Description
The Team Associated ASC92487 shock tower cover and upper wing mount set covers the top of the rear shock tower and provides the mounting point for the upper rear wing on the RC10B7 platform. The cover closes off the tower opening and keeps dirt and debris out of the shock mounting area, while the wing mount locates the wing at the correct height and angle above the rear of the chassis.
This set fits the RC10B7 and RC10B7D 1:10 scale 2WD off-road buggies and bolts directly to the existing rear shock tower using the standard hardware. It is a direct replacement for the parts supplied in the kit, with no modification required.
Wing mounts and tower covers take the impact in a rollover or a heavy landing, so they are among the first parts to crack or bend over a hard weekend of racing. Keeping this set in your pit box lets you swap a damaged mount between runs and get the wing back where it belongs.
