Description
The Team Associated ASC92486 Universal Driveshaft Set supplies the driveshafts that transmit power from the differential outdrives to the rear hubs on the RC10B7 platform. Universal-style joints maintain a more constant velocity through suspension travel and steering input than a conventional dogbone and cup arrangement, which helps the car put power down more smoothly over bumps and through corners where the suspension is loaded and unloaded.
This set fits the RC10B7 and RC10B7.1 1:10 scale 2WD off-road buggies and installs into the standard drivetrain assembly without modification. It is intended both as a direct replacement for worn or damaged shafts and as a drivetrain upgrade for cars still running the standard driveshafts.
Driveshafts are a wear item, and pins, bones and cups should be inspected regularly for slop or scoring. Keeping a spare set on hand means a damaged shaft does not end a race day. Follow the assembly instructions supplied with your kit for correct pin and retainer installation.
