Description
The Team Associated ASC92464 bearing set is the complete set of ball bearings for the RC10B7, RC10B7D and RC10B7.1 competition buggies. It covers the bearing locations throughout the car, including the front and rear wheel axles, the steering assembly, the transmission top shaft and the gear differential.
Bearings determine how freely the drivetrain and wheels turn. As dirt and moisture work past the seals, bearings roughen and drag, robbing the car of runtime and top speed and adding load to the motor and gears. Worn bearings also allow shafts and axles to move slightly, which makes gear mesh inconsistent and accelerates wear on the gears themselves.
Replacing every bearing at once during a full rebuild restores the free-rolling feel of a new car and is common maintenance between race seasons. These bearings are direct replacements for the items supplied in the kit, fitting the stock locations and requiring no modification to hubs, gearbox or steering components.
