Description
The Team Associated ASC92431 rear shock tower fits the RC10B7 and RC10B7D competition buggies. It mounts to the top of the gearbox and provides the upper mounting positions for the rear shocks and the rear camber links, controlling shock angle, rear roll center and camber gain through suspension travel.
The row of holes across the tower is a primary tuning tool at the rear of the car. Moving the shock mounting position changes how much the rear end resists roll and how it absorbs bumps and landings, while camber link position adjusts how rear camber changes as the suspension compresses.
Rear towers take impact in rollovers and hard landings and can chip or crack over a season of racing. This is a direct replacement for the tower supplied in the kit, installing on the stock gearbox with the original screws, shock hardware and camber link balls following the kit manual, so no modification of the transmission or suspension is required.
