Description
This spur gear cover set protects the rear transmission on the Team Associated RC10B7 platform, fitting the RC10B7, RC10B7.1, RC10B7.1D, and RC10B7D buggies along with the RC10SC7 Team short course truck and RC10T7 Team stadium truck, which share the same rear gearbox layout. The cover mounts over the spur gear to keep dirt, dust, and debris away from the gear mesh, and the set also includes companion bumpers and bulkhead shims that help protect the chassis from impacts and fine-tune bulkhead fitment. Molded from a durable composite material, these parts are built to withstand repeated impacts and abrasion from off-road running conditions without cracking, helping keep the gearbox running clean and reducing premature gear wear caused by contamination. A cracked or missing spur gear cover can let dirt into the gear mesh, accelerating wear on the spur and pinion gears, so replacing a damaged cover with this set helps protect the drivetrain investment.
