Description
The Team Associated ASC92422 body is the 0.8mm thick replacement body shell for the RC10B7 and RC10B7D competition buggies. It is supplied untrimmed and unpainted, so the racer trims it along the marked lines, cuts the body mount holes and finishes it to suit their own preferences before fitting it to the car.
The body is a major aerodynamic component on a modern racing buggy. Its shape works with the front and rear wings to manage airflow over the car, affecting steering response, high-speed stability and how the car settles after jumps. The 0.8mm material thickness is the standard specification for this platform.
This shell is a direct replacement for the body supplied in the kit and mounts using the stock body mounts and clips, requiring no modification to the chassis. Bodies wear out from crash damage and repeated flexing, so most racers keep at least one spare shell trimmed and ready for a race weekend.
