Description
The Team Associated ASC92412 rear hubs mount to the outer end of the rear suspension arms on the RC10B7, RC10B7D and RC10B7.1 competition buggies. Each hub carries the wheel axle and its bearings, and provides the mounting point for the rear camber link, so it sets rear camber and toe-in for that corner of the car.
The rear hubs work with the outer hinge pin and the arm to control how the wheel moves through suspension travel. Because they hold the axle bearings, worn or cracked hubs allow the axle to move under load, which shows up as inconsistent rear grip and accelerated bearing wear.
These are direct replacements for the hubs supplied with the kit and install using the stock hinge pins, bearings, axles and camber link hardware. No modification is required and the original suspension geometry is retained. A spare pair is useful insurance, since a hard side impact can crack a hub and end a run.
