Description
This Factory Team LTC gear set is built for the center differential of the RC10B74 series buggies. LTC stands for low torque capacity, describing a gear design intended to change how the differential transmits power rather than simply restoring a worn diff to standard specification.
The design uses a high tooth count with smaller teeth, which produces smoother differential action that will not lock on power. On a four-wheel-drive buggy the center differential splits torque between the front and rear ends, so its behavior has a strong influence on how the car puts power down and rotates through a corner. These gear sets increase the drivability and traction of the Team Associated B74 and are offered in metal and plastic variants.
The set comes with the gears and shims needed for one differential. It fits the RC10B74.2 and RC10B74.2D and installs into the stock center differential housing using the existing outdrives, bearings, and hardware, making it a performance upgrade over the standard gears.
