Description
This is a Factory Team LTC differential gear set for the front and rear differentials of the RC10B74 series buggies. LTC stands for low torque capacity, a design approach aimed at changing how the differential behaves under power rather than simply replacing worn gears with identical parts.
The gear set uses a high tooth count with smaller teeth, which allows smoother differential action that will not lock on power. In practice these sets increase the drivability and traction of the Team Associated B74, giving the car a more predictable response when power is applied through a corner. The LTC gear sets are offered in metal and plastic variants so the differential behavior can be tailored further.
Each set includes the gears and shims needed to build one differential. These parts fit the RC10B74.2 and RC10B74.2D and install into the stock differential housings using the existing outdrives, bearings, and hardware, making them an upgrade rather than a like-for-like replacement of the standard gears.
