Description
This battery mount set holds the battery pack in position on the chassis of the RC10B74.2 four-wheel-drive buggy. The mounts brace the pack against the chassis and keep it from shifting under braking, acceleration, and cornering loads, which matters because the battery is one of the heaviest single items in the car.
A securely located pack keeps weight distribution consistent lap after lap. If a battery is allowed to move even slightly, the car changes balance mid-corner and can feel inconsistent from one run to the next, so mounts that have cracked or lost their clamping ability are worth replacing promptly rather than working around. The mounts also protect the pack itself from impact damage during crashes and rolls.
The set fits the RC10B74.2 and RC10B74.2D. It installs as a direct replacement in the stock chassis locations using the factory hardware, with no modification required. Battery mounts are exposed on the chassis and take load in heavy landings, making this a sensible item to keep as a spare.
