Description
These gull wing front suspension arms are the lower control arms for the front end of the RC10B74.2 four-wheel-drive buggy. They locate the front hubs, carry the shock and camber link mounting points, and transmit every load from the front tires into the chassis, which makes them one of the hardest working structural parts on the car.
The gull wing profile raises the outer section of the arm relative to the inner hinge pin, which changes the arm geometry and the way the front suspension works through its travel compared with a flat arm. Gull wing arms are used as a matched system with the corresponding gull wing front shock tower, so the arms and tower need to be specified together for the geometry to be correct.
These arms fit the RC10B74.2 and RC10B74.2D. They install as direct replacements in the stock front-end locations using the factory hinge pins, hardware, and hubs. Front arms take the brunt of head-on impacts, so a spare pair belongs in every pit box.
