Description
This front gearbox set covers the front differential housing for the RC10B74.2 four-wheel-drive buggy. The gearbox halves locate and support the front differential, its bearings, and the outdrives, keeping gear mesh and bearing alignment consistent as the car loads through corners and lands from jumps.
The set includes gearboxes for both the 0 and 2 differential heights, which lets you change where the front differential sits in relation to the chassis. Differential height is a handling adjustment on this platform: moving the diff alters the front driveshaft angle and the way weight transfers onto the front tires, so having both options on hand makes it easier to match the car to a given track layout and surface.
These parts fit the RC10B74.2 and RC10B74.2D. They install as direct replacements in the stock front-end location using the factory hardware and differential internals, with no modification required.
