Description
These 16mm differential outdrives are the updated replacement for the original ASC92136 outdrives used in the front and rear differentials of the RC10B74 platform. Outdrives transfer power from the differential out to the driveshafts, so they carry constant torque loading and rank among the more common wear items in the drivetrain.
Team Associated revised the design with less machining work, which produces a more durable and more economical part than the version it supersedes. Overall length is 1mm shorter than the original outdrives, a change made specifically to reduce chipping around the edges under hard use.
The same outdrive works in either the front or the rear differential, and it fits the RC10B74, RC10B74.1, RC10B74.2, and RC10B74.2D. Installation is a direct replacement using the existing differential internals and hardware, with no modification required. Inspect the drive pin pockets whenever you rebuild a differential and replace the outdrives once the faces show rounding or chipping, since worn outdrives introduce slop that carries through the whole driveline.
