Description
The front scoop is the separate nose piece that mounts at the front of the body on the RC10B74 platform. It fills the area ahead of the front suspension and works with the main shell to manage airflow over and around the front of the buggy.
The scoop fits the RC10B74, RC10B74.1, RC10B74.1D, RC10B74.2, and RC10B74.2D 1:10 scale 4WD off-road buggies and is a direct replacement for the piece supplied with those bodies. It is supplied untrimmed and unpainted, so it needs to be cut to its marked lines and finished to match the body it is fitted to.
Because it sits at the very front of the car, the scoop takes the first impact in most crashes and is usually the first part of the bodywork to tear or crease. Replacing it separately is far cheaper than replacing an otherwise sound body, so keeping a spare scoop in the pit box is a practical way to keep the front end of the car looking and working right.
