Description
This is the standard replacement body shell for the RC10B74 platform. It is supplied unpainted and untrimmed, so the shell is cut to the marked lines, the body post and antenna holes are opened, and the shell is then painted on the inside surface before the protective outer film is peeled off.
The body fits the RC10B74, RC10B74.1, RC10B74.1D, RC10B74.2, and RC10B74.2D 1:10 scale 4WD off-road buggies and matches the stock body post positions on those cars, so no modification to the chassis is needed.
The body is a working aerodynamic component as well as a cover for the electronics and drivetrain. Its shape influences how the buggy behaves through corners and in the air, and a shell that has been torn, cracked, or distorted in a crash no longer holds that shape. Fitting a fresh body restores the intended aerodynamics and gives a clean base for a new paint scheme. Painting and trimming are required.
