Description
This motor mount slide is a direct replacement component for the RC10B74 and RC10B84 family of 1/10 scale off-road buggies from Team Associated. It bolts to the chassis and lets the motor plate slide fore and aft along the mount so drivers can fine-tune spur and pinion gear mesh without disturbing the rest of the drivetrain alignment. Molded from a reinforced composite, the slide is built to resist the vibration, heat, and repeated adjustment that comes with regular gearing changes and hard racing use, holding its shape and screw threads far better than a stressed or worn factory piece. A worn or cracked slide can let the motor plate shift under load, throwing off gear mesh and causing premature spur gear or pinion wear, so replacing it keeps the drivetrain running quietly and efficiently. This is a direct factory replacement matched to the original mounting pattern, not a performance upgrade, and installs with the stock motor mount screws. It fits RC10B74, RC10B74.1, RC10B74.2, RC10B84, and RC10B84D buggies as well as the RC10T84 Team truck, which all share this same motor mount slide design.
