Description
This differential pinion gear is a genuine Team Associated replacement for the gear differential used on the RC10B74 and RC10B74.1 lineups, RC10B74.2, RC10B84, RC10B84 Classic, and RC10T84 Team. Machined with a 16-tooth count from durable, wear-resistant material, the pinion gear meshes with the differential spider gears to transfer drive torque from the ring gear while allowing the differential to compensate for cornering speed differences between the axles. Precise tooth geometry keeps gear mesh tight and consistent, reducing backlash and drivetrain slop that can otherwise translate into inconsistent power delivery and handling. As a direct replacement for a worn, chipped, or stripped factory pinion gear, it restores smooth differential operation and proper torque transfer after wear or impact damage. It is a routine maintenance item for racers servicing their differential, and helps extend the service life of the surrounding differential components by maintaining correct gear engagement on these shared B74 and B84-platform vehicles.
