Description
These differential outdrive shims are a genuine Team Associated option part used to fine-tune outdrive end play in the front and center differentials across a broad range of RC10 2WD buggies, including the RC10B6 through B6.4 generations, the RC10B7 and B7D, the RC10B74 through B74.2D, and the RC10B84, B84 Classic, B84D, and B84D Classic buggies, as well as the RC10T84 Team truck. Made from thin, precisely stamped plastic, the shims are stacked between the outdrive and diff case to remove excess axial play without adding binding, which keeps the differential turning smoothly and reduces uneven wear on the outdrive splines and gears over time. As a direct replacement for lost or damaged factory shims, they restore proper differential fit after a rebuild, and as a tuning aid they let racers dial in the exact amount of preload and play their driveline needs for consistent power transfer. Because the shim size and function carry over across nearly every generation of RC10 2WD buggy Team Associated has produced, a set of these is a practical item to keep in a pit box for diff maintenance on multiple vehicles. Fourteen shims are included per package.
