Description
Arm Mount A is a suspension arm mount for the RC10B74 platform. It bolts to the chassis and locates the inner ends of the suspension arms, and together with the hinge pins and any inserts fitted to it, the mount sets the suspension geometry at that position on the car.
It fits the RC10B74, RC10B74.1, RC10B74.1D, RC10B74.2, and RC10B74.2D 1:10 scale 4WD off-road buggies, so a single spare covers the whole B74 family. Because the mount sits directly in the load path running from the wheels into the chassis, it absorbs impact from landings and crashes and can crack or distort over a season of racing.
This is a direct replacement for the mount supplied in those kits and installs in the stock position without modification. Fitting a fresh mount restores the intended geometry and removes any play that has developed in the hinge pin bores, which brings back consistent, repeatable suspension movement. Keeping a spare on hand avoids a lost race day after a hard crash.
