Description
The Team Associated ASC91982 lightweight body is a replacement shell for the RC10B6.4 and RC10B6.4D 1/10 scale 2WD competition buggy. As the name indicates, it is the lighter version of the B6.4 shell, supplied untrimmed and unpainted so it can be cut to the marked lines and finished before mounting.
Reducing weight high on the car lowers the centre of gravity and cuts rotating mass at the very top of the chassis, which racers use to sharpen the way the buggy changes direction. The body still performs its usual job, guiding airflow to the rear wing and keeping dirt away from the electronics, battery, and transmission.
It mounts in the standard body post locations as a direct replacement for the shell supplied with the kit, so no modification is needed. Lightweight shells are thinner and therefore wear out faster than standard bodies, making a spare a practical purchase for anyone racing regularly. Fits the RC10B6.4 and RC10B6.4D.
