Description
The Team Associated ASC91971 set includes the top plate and ballstud mount used on the RC10B6.4 and RC10B6.4D 1/10 scale 2WD buggy. The top plate spans the chassis and joins the side rails, while the ballstud mount provides the anchor point for the steering linkage.
Together these parts control chassis stiffness through the middle of the car and hold the steering geometry in place. A bent top plate or damaged ballstud mount shows up as inconsistent steering feel and a car that no longer responds the same way corner to corner, which makes replacement worthwhile as soon as damage is visible.
Both pieces are direct replacements for the parts supplied in the kit and install in the original locations using the existing hardware detailed in the manual, with no modification required. Keeping a spare set on hand means a heavy crash on race day does not end the weekend early. Fits the RC10B6.4 and RC10B6.4D.
