Description
The Team Associated ASC91969 side rails run along the outer edges of the RC10B6.4 and RC10B6.4D chassis, tying the chassis plate to the top deck and setting how much the car flexes between the front and rear ends.
Chassis flex is one of the primary handling adjustments on a modern 1/10 scale 2WD buggy. The side rails control that stiffness through the centre of the car, and replacing them restores the buggy to its intended feel after the originals have been scraped, tweaked, or cracked in a crash.
These are direct replacements for the parts fitted to the RC10B6.4 and RC10B6.4D, mounting in the factory locations with the existing screws shown in the kit manual and requiring no modification. Because the side rails sit low on the car and take repeated hits from ruts, pipe, and other cars, they are a common wear item and a sensible spare to keep in the pit box. Supplied as a replacement set for the B6.4 platform.
