Description
The Team Associated ASC91968 chassis is the main structural plate of the RC10B6.4 and RC10B6.4D 1/10 scale 2WD competition buggy. Every major assembly bolts to it, including the front and rear bulkheads, transmission, shock towers, battery, and electronics, so its stiffness and layout directly influence how the car steers, puts power down, and absorbs rough sections of track.
This is the +3mm version of the chassis, offered as an alternate option to the standard plate. Racers switch between the two to change how the buggy feels on different surfaces, keeping both on the bench as a setup choice rather than running a single fixed configuration all season.
Because it is a direct replacement for the factory part, it uses the original mounting locations and hardware called out in the kit manual, with no modification needed. A spare chassis is worth keeping for any racer, as the plate takes the brunt of hard landings and repeated crashes. Fits the RC10B6.4 and RC10B6.4D.
