This shock spring cup set is a genuine Team Associated option part engineered for the 13mm shock bodies used on the RC10B6.4 and B6.4D buggies, the RC10B74.2 and B74.2D buggies, the RC10T6.4 truck, and the RC10SC6.4 short course truck, and it is also compatible with the RC10B7 and B7D buggies. The cups seat the ends of the shock spring against the shock body and shock cap, and this set is molded from durable engineering plastic that resists the cracking and rounding that can develop on factory cups after repeated spring changes and hard racing impacts. As a direct replacement, a fresh cup set restores proper spring seating and eliminates the rattle or uneven preload that comes from worn or chipped original cups, helping keep damping and ride height consistent from run to run. Keeping spare cups on hand also speeds up spring rate changes during setup sessions, since drivers can swap springs without inspecting or reusing questionable original parts.
