Description
The Team Associated ASC91957 rear shock springs are 13mm big bore springs rated at 2.4 pounds per inch, with a 61mm free length, 9.25 active coils, and 1.2mm wire diameter, for use on the rear shocks of the RC10T84 Team truck.
Spring rate is one of the most direct tuning changes available on a race truck. A softer rear rate lets the rear of the chassis squat more under acceleration and generally builds rear traction on low grip surfaces, while a stiffer rate holds the chassis up, reduces roll, and suits high bite tracks and big jump landings. Because rate, free length, coil count, and wire diameter all interact, matching the full specification matters when working from a setup sheet.
These springs install on standard 13mm threaded shock bodies using the original spring collars and retainers, so changing rates takes only minutes between runs. They also serve as direct replacements for springs that have sagged with use or been bent in a crash, restoring the rear of the truck to its intended ride height and setup. Shocks, collars, and retainers are not included.
