Description
The Team Associated ASC91954 threaded shock bodies are 13mm bodies with a 31mm length, used in the big bore shock assemblies on the RC10T7 stadium truck, the RC10SC7 Team short course truck, and the RC10T84 Team truck. The body is the cylinder that contains the oil and the piston, making it the core component of the shock assembly.
The longer 31mm body suits the shock positions that require more travel, and the threaded exterior lets the spring collar be turned up or down to set ride height and spring preload without swapping springs, which is one of the quickest adjustments available at the track. The large 13mm bore moves more oil per unit of shaft travel, giving more consistent damping and better heat management through a long run.
These bodies are direct replacements for the ones supplied in those kits and accept the original caps, pistons, shafts, seals, and spring collars. A bore scratched or dented in a crash will chew through seals and leak, so replacing damaged bodies restores proper sealing and consistent damping. Shock internals, springs, and collars are not included.
