Description
This is a pair of 13mm rear shock springs rated at 1.8lb/in, with an L61 free length, 11.5 turns, and 1.2mm wire diameter, built for the Team Associated RC10B6.4, RC10B6.4D, RC10B74.2, RC10B74.2D, RC10B7, and RC10B7D 2wd buggy platforms. These springs mount over the rear shock bodies to control rear ride height and weight transfer, and this rate sits at the softer end of the available range, giving extra rear traction and compliance over bumps, holes, and off-camber sections. Wound from spring steel, the springs hold their rate consistently through repeated compression cycles without sagging, and each rate is marked for quick identification at the track. They install as a direct swap over the existing rear shock shaft and body, using the stock spring cups and collars, so no other shock components need to change. Rear spring rate is a key tool for tuning rear traction and corner exit grip, and this set gives racers an easy way to soften the rear end for loose or high-bite conditions.
