Description
The Team Associated ASC91880 RC10B6.3 Front Shock Tower is a carbon fiber front tower for the RC10B6.3 generation buggy. It bolts to the front bulkhead and carries the upper front shock mounting points, with multiple holes so shock angle and effective spring rate can be tuned to suit grip levels and track layout. Carbon fiber gives high stiffness for its weight, so the shocks work against a mount that stays consistent under load.
This is the gull wing front tower, and it is compatible with vehicles earlier than the RC10B6.3 when gull wing arms are used. Fitment covers the RC10B6, RC10B6.1, RC10B6.1D, RC10B6.1DL, RC10B6.2, RC10B6.2D, RC10B6.3, RC10B6.3D, RC10B6.4 and RC10B6.4D, and it installs in the original front tower location with the original hardware.
Front towers take the load from every landing and every front impact, so they are among the more commonly broken parts on a racing buggy. A spare lets you repair the car quickly and return to the shock positions you had already set.
