Description
The Team Associated ASC91864 RC10B6.2 Lightweight Body is a thin gauge polycarbonate shell for the RC10B6.2 generation buggy. The lighter material removes weight from high on the car, which lowers the center of gravity and helps the chassis change direction more quickly. The molded profile still covers the chassis, the electronics and the driveline while guiding air over the car for stability at speed.
This body fits the RC10B6.2 and RC10B6.2D, and it also mounts on the RC10B6.3 and RC10B6.3D. It is a direct replacement for the body supplied in those kits and uses the original body post locations, so no chassis changes are needed.
The shell is supplied unpainted and ready to mask and paint, and Team Associated publishes a video guide covering painting techniques for bodies of this type. Lightweight shells are consumable items that crack and tear faster than standard bodies, so keeping a spare means a fresh, correctly shaped body for a main event.
