Description
These CVA axles are the constant velocity drive axles that carry power from the transmission outdrives out to the wheel hubs. The constant velocity joint keeps drive torque smooth as the suspension moves through its travel and as the axle plunges in and out, which helps hold steady power delivery over bumps and through jump landings.
The axles are a direct replacement for the units fitted to the RC10B6.2 and RC10B6.2D, and they also fit the RC10B7 and RC10B7D 1:10 scale 2WD off-road buggies. Because the same axle carries across those chassis, one set covers several generations of the platform, which makes it a practical spare to keep in the pit box.
CVA axles are a routine wear item on a raced buggy. Replacing worn or bent axles restores correct driveline geometry, removes slop from the drivetrain, and prevents the binding and vibration that develop as the joints and pins wear. Install them as a matched set so both sides wear evenly and the car stays balanced under power.
