Description
The Team Associated ASC91828 RC10B6.1 Lightweight Body is a thin gauge polycarbonate shell shaped for the RC10B6.1 generation buggy. The reduced material thickness removes weight from high on the car, lowering the center of gravity and helping the chassis respond more quickly to steering input. The molded profile covers the electronics and the driveline while guiding air over the car for stability at speed.
This body fits the RC10B6.1, RC10B6.1D and RC10B6.1DL, and it also mounts on the RC10B6.2, RC10B6.2D, RC10B6.3 and RC10B6.3D. It is a direct replacement for the body supplied in those kits, using the original body post locations, so no chassis changes are required.
The shell is supplied unpainted and ready to mask and paint, and Team Associated publishes a video guide covering painting techniques for bodies of this type. Bodies are consumable racing items that crack and tear over a season, so a fresh one restores both the aerodynamic shape and the appearance of the car.
