Description
The Team Associated ASC91813 RC10B6.1 Gear Cover is the molded transmission cover for the RC10B6.1 generation gearbox. It encloses the gear train, keeping dirt, grass and loose track material away from the gear mesh while holding grease where it belongs. A closed gearbox runs quieter, wears more slowly and holds the mesh setting you dialed in through a full run.
This cover fits a wide range of the platform: the RC10B6.1, RC10B6.1D, RC10B6.1DL, RC10B6.2, RC10B6.2D, RC10B6.3, RC10B6.3D, RC10B6.4 and RC10B6.4D buggies, plus the RC10T6.1 and RC10T6.2 stadium trucks and the RC10SC6.1 and RC10SC6.2 short course trucks. It is a direct replacement for the cover supplied in those kits and mounts to the original gearbox with the original screws.
Gear covers crack easily in rollovers and in wheel to wheel contact, and a broken cover exposes the gears to debris right away. A spare in the pit box means a quick swap between rounds instead of risking stripped gears.
