Description
The Team Associated ASC91693 RC10B6 Rear Ballstud Mount is a replacement rear ballstud mount for the RC10B6 platform. It bolts to the rear of the transmission case and carries the upper camber link ballstuds, setting the inboard pickup point for the rear camber links. Because that pickup point defines rear roll center and camber gain, the mount is a key part of the car's rear suspension geometry and directly affects how the chassis rolls and how quickly it recovers through a corner.
This mount fits the RC10B6, RC10B6D and RC10B6 Club Racer. It is a direct replacement for the mount supplied in those kits, installing in the original location with the original hardware, so no modification to the gearbox or the chassis is required.
Rear ballstud mounts take load every time the suspension cycles and are commonly damaged in a hard landing or a rear end impact. Keeping a spare on the bench lets you repair a cracked or stripped mount between rounds and return the rear geometry to its intended settings.
