Description
These are the Team Associated ASC91678 Screws, M3x20mm, BHCS, shouldered. They are a direct replacement for the steering bellcrank screws on the B6 series vehicles. The shoulder is precision ground to fit bearings more accurately than a traditional screw, resulting in smoother bearing action through the steering system.
A shouldered screw works as a pivot rather than just a fastener. The ground shoulder gives the bearing inner race a true, consistent surface to ride on while the threaded end clamps into the chassis, so the bellcrank rotates freely without the bind or slop that a standard threaded shank introduces. Smoother bellcrank action translates directly into more precise steering feel and better on-center response.
These screws fit the RC10B6, RC10B6D, RC10B6 Club Racer, RC10B6.1, RC10B6.1D, RC10B6.1DL, RC10B6.2, RC10B6.2D, RC10B6.3, RC10B6.3D, RC10T6.1, RC10T6.2, RC10SC6.1, and RC10SC6.2. They install into the existing steering assembly with no modification, making this an easy way to restore or upgrade steering smoothness during a rebuild.
