Description
This is the Team Associated ASC91665 B6 Rear Shock Tower. The rear shock tower is the vertical plate that mounts to the rear gearbox and carries the upper mounting points for the rear shocks and camber links. The hole positions you choose on the tower set shock angle and camber link geometry, which are two of the most effective adjustments for tuning rear traction and how the car rotates through a corner.
This shock tower fits the RC10B6, RC10B6D, and RC10B6 Club Racer. It is a direct replacement for the tower supplied in those kits, with the mounting holes in the factory positions so it bolts to your existing gearbox and accepts your current shocks and links without modification.
Shock towers absorb a great deal of impact energy in a rollover or a hard landing, and a cracked or bent tower will change your suspension geometry in ways that are difficult to diagnose from the driver stand. Keeping a spare on the bench means a race weekend does not end with a broken tower.
