Description
The Team Associated ASC91489 3x27.5mm Shock Shafts are precision-ground shafts used in the front or rear shock absorbers to provide smooth, consistent damping travel. A hardened, polished surface finish reduces friction against the shock seals, minimizing wear on both the shaft and the o-ring seal while keeping the shock free of internal binding throughout its stroke. Straight, true shafts are essential for consistent damping performance, since a bent or pitted shaft can cause the shock to bind or leak. These shafts are a direct replacement for the factory components used on the DR10 chassis, the Pro2 platform including the DK10SW, LT10SW, RT10SW, SC10, and SC10sw RTR, the ProSC10 short course truck, RB10 and RB10 Retro, and the SR10 and SR10M dirt oval cars, as well as the Trophy Rat. Replacing a bent shock shaft is a quick, affordable fix after a hard crash, restoring smooth shock action without the expense of a full shock rebuild.
