Description
These precision shock shafts are direct-fit replacements for the oil-filled shocks used on Team Associated's 10th-scale short course and buggy platforms. Measuring 3mm in diameter and 21mm in usable length, they fit the shock assemblies found on B44.3, DR10M, RB10, RB10 Retro, RC10B5, RC10B5M, SR10, and SR10M Dirt Oval vehicles, all of which share this shock shaft size in their front or rear damper sets. Each shaft is precision ground from hardened steel and finished smooth to reduce friction against the shock seals, which helps the damper maintain consistent, predictable compression and rebound damping over long runs. A true, straight shaft is critical to smooth shock action, so replacing a bent or worn shaft restores proper suspension feel and prevents binding that can upset handling on rough or high-bite surfaces. This part is intended as a direct replacement for a damaged or worn factory shaft, matching original specifications rather than altering damping characteristics. Shafts are sold to match the quantity needed for a shock rebuild.
