The Team Associated ASC91428 Motor Plate mounts the motor securely to the chassis while maintaining correct gear mesh alignment between the pinion and spur gear. Precise, repeatable motor positioning is critical for smooth power transfer and long gear life, since misalignment can cause premature wear or a noisy, inefficient drivetrain. Constructed to hold its shape under the vibration and heat generated by hard running, this plate keeps the motor firmly located run after run. It is a direct replacement for the factory motor plate used on the DR10 and DR10M drag chassis, the Pro2 platform including the DK10SW, LT10SW, RT10SW, SC10, and SC10sw RTR, the ProSC10 short course truck, RB10 and RB10 Retro, the SR10 and SR10M dirt oval cars, and the Trophy Rat. Replacing a cracked or warped motor plate restores accurate gear mesh instantly, making this an essential maintenance part for keeping the drivetrain quiet, efficient, and reliable throughout a race weekend.
