The Team Associated ASC91358 Chassis Brace Set ties the front and rear bulkheads to the main chassis plate, adding torsional rigidity to the overall platform. A stiffer chassis transmits suspension forces more consistently through corners and over rough terrain, giving the driver more predictable handling and better traction under power. The brace set also helps protect the chassis plate itself from flexing and cracking around mounting points after repeated hard impacts or landings. This kit is a direct fit for the DR10 drag chassis, the Pro2 platform including the DK10SW, LT10SW, RT10SW, SC10, and SC10sw RTR, the ProSC10 short course truck, RB10 and RB10 Retro, the SR10 and SR10M dirt oval cars, and the Trophy Rat. Installing this brace set is a straightforward way to firm up an aging or flexible chassis, and it is equally useful as preventative reinforcement on a newer build that sees frequent hard use at the track or on the strip.
