These Team Associated ASC89454 screws are M3x12 mm socket head cap screws, the standard hardware size used throughout the chassis, shock towers, bulkheads and mounts on Team Associated 1:8 vehicles. The socket head drive accepts a 2.5 mm hex driver and seats cleanly into counterbored composite and aluminum parts.
RC hardware takes a beating. Threads strip, hex sockets round out under repeated wrenching, and screws bend or shear in a heavy crash. Keeping the correct length and pitch on hand means a stripped fastener never turns into a missed heat, and replacing tired screws before they fail is far easier than extracting a rounded head trackside.
This size fits RC8T, SC8, SC8e, RC8B, RC8Be, RC8.2, RC8.2e, SC8.2e, the Nomad DB8 Limited Edition, and the RC8B4, RC8T4, RC8B4.1, RC8B4.2 and RC8T4.2 platforms.
