Description
This is a set of M4x20mm set screws used as hardware on the Team Associated Rival MT8 and SR7 Hoonicorn monster truck platforms, securing components such as wheel hexes, hubs, or collars at points designed to be locked in place with a headless, threaded fastener. Made from hardened steel, the set screws thread fully into their mounting hole and tighten against a shaft or pin to lock a part in position without a protruding head that could interfere with clearance. These screws see constant vibration and torque loading from the drivetrain and wheels during hard driving, and they can back out, strip their internal hex drive, or lose their bite over time, letting the part they secure spin loose or shift out of position. Keeping fresh set screws on hand lets builders restore a tight lock immediately rather than reusing worn hardware. This is a direct factory replacement part matched to the stock M4x20mm hardware spec used across the Rival MT8 platform, not an upgraded part, and it installs into the existing threaded holes already on the truck.
