Description
These Team Associated ASC89221 M5x4mm set screws are the small grub screws used throughout the Associated 1/8 scale range to lock collars, clamps and drivetrain components onto their shafts. They are a low cost part that does an important job, and a rounded out or missing set screw will let a component walk out of position under load.
Set screws are easy to lose in the pits, and the hex socket wears with repeated removal and refitting, so most racers go through a steady supply of them across a season. Having correct M5x4mm screws on the bench means you never have to make do with something close enough.
Fitment is broad across the Team Associated nitro and electric 1/8 scale line, including the MGT 3.0, RC8, RC8T, RC8Te, SC8, SC8e, RC8B, RC8Be, RC8.2, RC8.2e, SC8.2e, the RC8B3 and RC8T3 families, the Nomad DB8 Limited Edition, the RC8B4 and RC8T4 families and the RC8B4.2 and RC8T4.2. These are direct replacements for the factory hardware.
