Description
These are M4 x 14mm flat head cap screws (FHCS), countersunk hardware used across Team Associated's 1/8-scale off-road lineup wherever a flush-mounted fastener is needed, such as bulkhead braces, chassis inserts, and mounting plates. The countersunk head sits flush with the surrounding surface, avoiding interference with moving parts or body clearance, while the hex drive resists rounding out during frequent maintenance. These screws are made from hardened steel for reliable thread strength and resistance to shearing or stripping under racing vibration and impact loads. They fit a broad range of platforms, including the RC8B and RC8T families through the current RC8B4.2 and RC8T4.2 generations, the Rival MT8 monster truck, the SC8 short course truck, and the RC10F6 and RC12R6 on-road platforms. As a direct replacement for stripped, corroded, or missing factory screws, this hardware restores secure, flush-fitting assembly, and keeping extras on hand is useful since small fasteners are easily misplaced during builds. Installation uses a standard hex driver into the existing threaded mounting points.
