Description
These are M3 x 30mm flat head cap screws (FHCS), longer countersunk hardware used on Team Associated's 1/8-scale off-road vehicles for flush-mounted connections that require extra thread engagement, such as shock tower mounts, brace plates, and other structural joints. The countersunk head sits flush with the surrounding surface for clean fitment and clearance from moving parts, while the 30mm length provides secure clamping through thicker composite or metal sections. These screws are made from hardened steel for consistent strength and resistance to stripping or shearing under racing vibration and impact loads. They fit the RC8B3 and RC8B4 buggy families through the current RC8B4.2, the RC8T3 and RC8T4 truggy families through the RC8T4.2, and the SR7 platform. As a direct replacement for stripped, corroded, or missing factory screws, this hardware restores secure structural assembly at key mounting points, and keeping spares on hand is practical since small fasteners are easily lost during builds and maintenance. Installation uses a standard hex driver into the existing threaded mounting points.
